The Iowa Martial Arts Center was founded in 2022 by Collin Heidemann. Collin got started in martial arts early in life with wrestling and started training Mixed Martial Arts in 2009. He wrestled for Waverly-Shell Rock high school and spent time on the teams at Coe College and the University of Dubuque. Collin went on to win the Pinnacle Combat Amateur Welterweight Championship in 2015.
